A particularly rare and intriguing piece from the Gianni Versace watch line, this automatic chronograph dates to 1997 and represents a distinctive chapter in the history of Versace timepieces.
Produced as a special edition within the Versace watch collection, examples of this model are rarely encountered today, with very limited information and surviving examples available online. Its scarcity makes it an especially interesting piece for collectors of unusual 2000s luxury watches.
The watch is powered by the highly regarded Calibre 137 automatic chronograph movement, a sophisticated movement developed by Ebel in collaboration with Nouvelle Lémania and introduced in 1995. The calibre was used extensively in Ebel chronographs of the period and is known for its robust construction and technical sophistication.
With its 41mm steel case and unmistakable 2000s character, this Versace combines the bold aesthetic of Gianni Versace with a serious Swiss mechanical chronograph movement — an unusual meeting of fashion and traditional horology.
